Welcome to my world – the wacky world of Aaliyah Muhammad. It’s an interesting place on my good days. If you’re here, you’re curious about what makes me tick. Truthfully, we both are! I am constantly learning things about myself – things that surprise me. I certainly didn’t think twenty years ago that I would be here today, writing my first children’s book by now I thought I would have had at least 20! But which of the favors of your lord would you deny? None! I am thankful to Allah, Al-hamdulillah that he has allowed me to live my way to this moment – and to have acquired some pretty unique skills along the way that insha’allah will aid my in this new chapter (pun intended).

Aaliyah Muhammad is a passionate storyteller who has found joy in creating heartfelt stories that celebrate emotions and thoughts that are always swirling in my mind in one form or another!
Al-hamdulllah, I was blessed to be born and raised Muslim. My journey with Islam and iman are still ongoing, as I pray to hold onto the rope of Allah. Through my writing, I pray to strengthen my own faith while nurturing the faith of others, especially young readers, by introducing them to the beauty and protection of Islam.
When I’m not writing, I enjoy spending time with my family, playing with my little one, and creating stories that spark joy and reflection. These are the facts 🙂. Occasionally, I post on this blog things on my heart and mind. I hope they resonate with you, just as I hope that my book finds a way into your home.
